At PokerBROS, we aim to provide the most exciting and fun platform for poker fans to connect with their friends around the world. As part of this, we take our commitment to game fairness seriously.
We understand that in order for poker to be fun, players need to know that the games they are playing are fair. That all players are playing with the same level of information and playing by the rules. That the players you are playing against are not working as a team against you and that they are real humans. That the shuffling or the cards is truly random. At PokerBROS we do this in two main ways.
Random Number Generator
Our Random Number Generator (RNG) is what ensures the dealing of the cards is random and fair. If you’ve had one of those playing sessions where it feels you have been two outered endlessly, you may start to question that! But you don’t need to take our word for it. Our RNG has been independently tested and certified by three separate professional bodies; iTech Labs, Gaming Labs and BMM. Each of these independent and accredited bodies conducted tests to ensure our RNG is compliant with industry standards in highly-regulated jurisdictions. So, you can feel confident that the dealing sequence on PokerBROS is random and fair for all.
How does an RNG (random number generator) work?
GIB
The majority of players are happy to play a fair game within the rules, there are however a small minority of players who look to gain an unfair advantage and that is why we have Game Integrity BROS, aka GIB.
GIB’s mission statement:
Our mission is to offer the safest platform for people to enjoy the game of poker and ensure nobody gets an unfair advantage
We recently invested over $1million into upscaling our game integrity team. GIB are a team of 14 experts who are passionate about poker and committed to ensuring that our games are fair and safe for all players. Supported by a crack team of dedicated developers providing cutting edge tools, GIB’s goal is to prevent and detect any type of fraudulent behavior at PokerBROS poker tables. Whether that be chip dumping, collusion, multi-accounting, the use of 3rd party AI software, or any other inappropriate behavior.
The team includes many former mid-stakes poker professionals, bright data analysts, and statistics experts. Additionally, their track record is solid – almost the entire team has been working together for more than 7 years to place MPN among game integrity industry leaders.
Within the first month of operation, GIB identified more than 700 fraudulent accounts, including a large bot ring of more than 30 accounts, and numerous collusion syndicates. Just this month they have set up a dedicated bot detection unit who will focus on identifying the use of prohibited automatic software and real-time assistance tools.
